| Joliet Catholic's Ferguson commits to Illini |

Joliet Catholic senior running back Josh Ferguson has committed to Illinois, according to multiple reports.
Ferguson, who is 5-10 and 175 pounds, was one of the state's top running backs last season. He rushed for 1,596 yards and 20 touchdowns on 178 carries as a junior. In the Class 5A state championship, he ran for 107 yards.
The Illini now have five in-state recruits and nine total.
